# Sobremesa — Rooms built on purpose

> Sobremesa builds lead-gen microevents for B2B startups, VCs, and consultants: curated rooms of enterprise C-level executives, founders, and investors, in any city in the world. Senior buyers won't answer cold email — but they'll accept a dinner invitation from their peers.

## What Sobremesa does

We build curated microevents — executive dinners, conference side events, and luxury experiential travel — that put your team in the room with senior buyers who don't respond to normal outreach. You tell us who you want to meet; weeks later, they're at your table. You approve every seat, you host under your own brand, and you get enriched attendee intelligence in your CRM within 48 hours.

Leaders we've brought to the table include people from OpenAI, a16z, Waymo, Zipline, Google, Meta, Amazon, Dell, AWS, Miro, Khosla Ventures, Samsung, and Mercedes-Benz.

## The problem we solve

You already know events work. The problem is who shows up.

- **Cold outreach stalls at the top.** A VP at Google has 400 unread emails and zero reasons to reply to yours. The more senior the buyer, the worse your reply rate.
- **Booths buy you badges, not deals.** A $20K conference booth gets you ninety seconds with whoever walks past. You collect scans, your SDRs chase them for a quarter, and almost nothing converts.
- **Running your own event is a second job.** Weeks of venue calls, invite chasing, and no-show anxiety — and you still end up with a room half-filled by your own team and people who aren't your ICP.

## Who it's for

Built for teams whose buyers are too senior to reach any other way:

- **B2B infrastructure with 6-figure LTV** — payments, security, data, compliance, cloud, logistics tech. Large contracts, long buying committees, and a culture that already runs on relationships.
- **Deeptech, hardware, and industrial** — robotics, aerospace, semiconductors, advanced materials, industrial AI. Your buyers are VP Engineering and Head of Manufacturing at corporates who don't answer cold email.
- **Professional services and advisory** — boutique consulting, M&A advisory, wealth management, corporate law. Enormous deal sizes, entirely relationship-driven pipeline.

## How we work

You tell us who you want in the room. Weeks later, they're at your event.

1. **You brief us.** Titles, companies, industries, target account list if you have one. Twenty minutes on a call is enough.
2. **We build the room around anchors.** We secure 2–5 senior anchor guests first — recognized names and big brands in your industry, sourced from your network and ours — and pick a topic your ICP actually wants to spend an evening on. Those names go to you before anyone else is invited. Then we fill the rest of the room through our network, conference momentum, and targeted outreach. You approve every single seat.
3. **You bring your team.** Your founders and sales leads come as hosts. The anchors and the topic do the credibility work, so your team isn't pitching cold — they're being introduced inside a room your buyers already trust. Conversations that take five calls to earn happen over dinner.
4. **You get the intelligence.** Enriched profiles and contacts for everyone in the room, what they said they're working on, and buying signals — in your CRM within 48 hours.

## Services and pricing

- **Curated executive dinners** — ~10 approved ICP guests. No panels, no slides, no pitch. One table, off the record, hosted under your brand. $9,000 per dinner (August pricing; regularly $15,000).
- **Conference side events** — 20–30 ICP guests in one room during the week your buyers are already in town, plus visibility across the conference. The alternative to a booth. $12,000 solo-hosted (August pricing; regularly $25,000).
- **Luxury experiential travel** — multi-day curated experiences for your highest-value relationships; the format for buyers a dinner won't move. Priced on request, bespoke scope.

Venue, catering, photography, transportation, and POS materials are not included and are covered separately by the client against a pre-agreed budget. August pricing applies to events contracted before August 31. A reduced upfront price plus a fraction of CPA / deals signed after the event is available for teams who'd rather pay on results than on delivery.

## FAQ

**How fast can you run an event?** Four to six weeks for a curated dinner in most cities. Conference side events during peak weeks (Web Summit, Tech Week, TechCrunch Disrupt) need six to eight weeks, because good venues and good guests are spoken for early.

**Which cities?** Anywhere. We've built rooms across the US and Europe, and we source anchor guests locally in every market we work in.

**Do we see the guest list before the event?** Yes. You approve every seat, and you get the confirmed list at least one week out so your team can research and run pre-event outreach.

**Is our brand on it, or yours?** Yours. You're the host. We're invisible unless you want us introduced.

**What happens after the event?** You get enriched profiles on every attendee, notes on what each one is working on, buying signals, and drafted follow-ups — within 48 hours, exported to your CRM.

**How is this different from an event agency?** We handle the ops, but that's not the core thing. We focus on business metrics: bringing your top target customers into the room. They come because their peers are already there, they trust you because of it, and deal-closing rates are much higher. Most attendees are new leads — but not cold, because of the format.

**Why is this expensive? Can't I do it myself, or cheaper?** You're paying for the anchor relationships and the time it takes to build them — and for the fact that the room converts differently because of how it's built. For the buyers we bring in, normal acquisition channels typically cost several times more per customer than a curated room costs per qualified conversation. Most teams either can't reach these buyers through their usual channels, or spend more in time and headcount getting there than the event costs outright.
